UM School of Music: 2007 UMSO Concerto Competition Finals November 9, 2007

Final round of the annual student competition to perform as featured soloist with the UM Symphony Orchestra next season. Finalists compete with extended 15-20 minute excerpts of a concerto or concert piece with piano accompaniment before an independent jury panel of three prominent musicians. Following the jury’s deliberation, a winner, runner-up and second runner-up will be announced on stage.
