An evening of beautiful West African rhythms and cultural heritage brought to life by the djembe orchestra directed by Amadou Kouyate. Featuring members of the UM beginning and advanced African Drum Ensembles and special guest presentations by Nsaa Dance Ensemble of Howard University and Mahiri Keita. Presented by Graduate Studies in Ethnomusicology; Musicology & Ethnomusicology Division.
