Passage Art Gallery Cordially invite you to the preview of their premier show Ultra Modern Solitude.
This exhibition is a celebration of an exclamation, which otherwise is replaced by many pseudo explanations in today’s art scene. Artists, who created these paintings, may be recluses in a way, but they live in the same society and it is their deliberate, conscious and more precise decision to paint in this non-representational and non-narrative manner. In the time of media and neo-media, these artists, who are working in same contemporary time with best refined and unconditional focus, are aware but unaffected by such TEMPORARY trends and choose not to indulge in the mere ‘Fads’ and ‘Seasonal Flavours’, which may force many others to succumb and produce mediocre works. In fact these artists are living with their own chosen Solitude, which they have achieved by practising their art and by refusing to follow the temporary trends of today’s art scene.
