On Wednesday, July 28th from 1:00 pm- 2:15 pm EST (10 am- 11:15 am PST), Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is hosting an informational webcast/teleconference, “Ulcerative Colitis: The A to Z of Treating UC.”

There are many aspects of Ulcerative Colitis to understand, so whether you are a newly diagnosed ulcerative colitis patients, undergoing treatment, or caring for a loved one with this chronic digestive disease, “Ulcerative Colitis: The A to Z of Treating UC” will help answer any questions.

Led by national expert, Thomas Ullman, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, he will help sort through the uncertainty of the disease and discuss patterns, treatment approaches and options as well as quality of life issues.

Dr. Ullman will talk about all facets of UC, and answer audience questions during an interactive session following the presentation. He will cover topics that will include:
• Current and emerging treatment approaches to ulcerative colitis
• Long- term disease maintenance and quality of life
• Considerations when discussing options with your healthcare provider
