Nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award 2009 and a finalist in the 2008 Chortle Student Comedian of the Year Award, Chris is a regular act and compere at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the UK. As well as performing in comedy clubs Chris has supported Lee Mack, Russell Kane, Jenny Eclair, and Stephen K Amos on national tours and Al Murray 'The Pub Landlord' on an international tour date in Dubai's 2000 seat Madinat Arena. Chris has been a guest on QRadio and Kerrang Radio and has provided live, on location, warm-up for Channel 4’s The Gok Wan Road Show.
In the summer of 2009 Chris performed in the Comedy Zone at the Edinburgh Festival – the fringe’s longest-running and most prestigious stand-up showcase. While at the Festival Chris also performed for BBC Comedy Presents and had a number of appearances on The Credit Crunch Cabaret, hosted by Frank Skinner.
This year, Chris will be providing warm-up for Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show (BBC3) in the spring and taking his eagerly anticipated debut solo show to the Edinburgh festival in August.

DAVEY SEE has been gigging since 2008, with his very first gig at The Stand's Red Raw night. Since then he has played the major clubs, in addition to supporting JENNY ECLAIR at The Citizen's Theatre during the Magner's Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2010, earning a reputation for his confident, laidback style. 2010 will see DAVEY become The Stand's Red Raw compere by the end of the year and support JENNY ECLAIR on her 2010/11 UK tour. DAVEY is currently developing projects for the BBC and is part of the sketch show The Stockholm Syndrome.


MC: Ed Gamble

Rising star Ed Gamble has come a long way since the final of the Revels Student Comedy Awards at Edinburgh 2007.

A finalist in The Laughing Horse Big, Big, Big New Act Competition (2007) Ed is co writer and host of the Chortle sponsored ‘Peacock and Gamble Podcast’. Available on iTunes, the last two series of the podcast culminated with special, series finale live audience recordings.

Ed has written, performed and directed with the Durham Revue since 2004 and in 2008 co wrote and directed ‘Devils’, Cambridge Footlights Edinburgh Festival show.

Following the success of Ed’s Cool Fun Comedy Night in Durham Ed took the show to The Free Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008 and 2009.

In addition, Edinburgh 2009 saw Ed appear as part of the Comedy Zone - the fringe’s longest - running and most prestigious stand-up showcase as well as performing in Frank Skinner’s Credit Crunch Cabaret.
