UBS 12 X 12: New Artists New Work April 25, 2009

Media art illuminates perceptions of ecologically responsible living in the next UBS 12 x 12: New Artists/New Work. Artist Tiffany Holmes uses electronic technology to measure the environmental and economic impact of human activity. The installation presents a series of salvaged lamps that visitors are encouraged to turn the lamps on and off, and the resulting energy consumption is presented in real-time as an animation on two plasma screens.
