UAB International Film Festival January 19, 2007

The UAB Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is happy to bring you 16 international films, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of its Foreign Film Series. As foreign language educators, we place a great emphasis on promoting humanist connections, communication between cultures, diversity awareness, and a holistic vision of our world. With this Festival and our wonderful exciting film selection, we are grateful to be able to serve our community in a meaningful way. The movies you will see foster and promote tolerance, freedom of expression through art, compassion, language and culture learning. Last, but not least, all movies promote and enforce dialogue between cultures.
