Welcome to the home page for Reaching Beyond Our Borders 2009 (also known as RBOB 2009). RBOB 09 is our third bi-annual RBOB conference.

RBOB conferences have been established to facilitate the exchange of information and resources among healthcare professionals involved with the rehabilitation of individuals who require orthoses and prostheses in order to maximize their level of function and independence. This includes surgeons, physicians, therapists, prosthetists, orthotists, pedorthists, shoe makers, engineers, rehabilitation directors, nurses, manufacturers and more.

It is an opportunity to expand your network of rehabilitation professionals, learn about progressive treatment options across the Western Hemisphere, strengthen collaborative efforts and broaden the rehabilitation bridge in our regional community.

The theme for RBOB 09 is "Partners in Rehabilitation". This theme encourages the departure from the mindset of discipline specific treatments and emphasizes the benefits of team approach when providing prosthetic or orthotic rehabilitation services.
