U U Humanity Series October 18, 2007

Dr. Margaret Preska, retired President of Minnesota State University Mankato will present “My Impressions of Life in a Sheikdom” at the next U U Humanity Series, Thursday, October 18th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Mankato. Dr. Preska was the CEO and Provost at Zayed University in the United Arab Emigrates from 1998-99. During this time, Dr. Preska oversaw the development of a unique academic program model, for the first University for women in the UAE. Dr. Preska will share thoughts and impressions of this experience. Following her talk, informal conversation with Dr. Preska will be held in the church fellowship hall. Dr. Preska and her husband, Dan, are members of the UUFM. The presentation is at 7:00 pm, the public is welcome without charge.
