U Lyric Opera: Dialogues of the Carmelites April 24, 2010

Set during the French Revolution, the story revolves around the daughter of the aristocratic Marquis de la Force who flees the wrath of the rebels, and takes refuge in a convent run by Carmelite nuns. With all of their lives now in danger, will they escape or be placed under the headsman's axe?
