Two Gents are experts in reinterpretation: taking, and reshaping classic European drama and presenting it through the eyes of Zimbabwe.

Now, in this self-written show, Two Gents present a postcard from Zimbabweans to their counterparts abroad; inspired by the experiences of an estimated 3 million Zimbabweans that now live abroad and their own encounter of returning home.

Democratic – a young man that goes back to Zimbabwe after ten years in England to bury his father, Trinity – a newly returned woman searching for a partner in Harare, Ambuya’s campaign for electricity and an eclectic revolving disc of characters and situations provide a lens for the consideration of ‘home’ and what it means to be a ‘ diasporan’ in your own country.

This is it. This is Harare eclectic and electric. This is MAGETSI!
