Two Boots Brooklyn Organ Jam December 27, 2010

This event's about bringing together ears from all over, and cultivating a "book" for this music - we want to create a book for SoulJazz, Boogaloo - a style so identifiable but not yet fully identified. And this is how we plan to do it: Each week, I'll have a house band - organ, drums, and guitar or horn - and the session will be open to all instruments. I'm going to run it not unlike other jam sessions - doin' my best to see to it that both the players and the audience are enjoyin' they sef. The repertoire will be augmented by the players, that come each week, and the charts will be posted online via a PDF file, and hopefully we all add to the book
