Protégés of the Insane Clown Posse, the Detroit-area rap duo Twiztid based their act on a similarly theatrical, outrageous, makeup-heavy image and an obsession with serial-killer horror films. Jamie Madrox and the Monoxide Child cast themselves as psychotic axe murderers on their 1998 debut album, Mostasteless, which was reissued with new artwork and extra tracks a year later in the wake of ICP's rise to national notoriety. Twiztid's second album, Freek Show, was released on Halloween 2000 in conjunction with ICP's Bizzar/Bizaar sets; Mirror Mirror followed two years later. The Green Book hit the shelves in 2003 with Man's Myth, Vol. 1 landing in 2005. The duo toured extensively throughout the States in the early 2000s, developing a small cult following throughout the Midwest in particular.

i really hate to say this... but this wuz the weakest, stalest, twiztid show i've ever been to. fort collins "juggalos" are fuckin gay. dj clay just sat up there on stage and played music pretending to scratch when he wasnt doin shit. i could've done that shit at home. he didn't do ONE fucking song! all the ft collins fake ass juggahoes can go suck a fat dick. they were happier when they were playin milenko songs then when twiztid actually came out. nobody smoked bud, nobody knew any of their songs but "we don't die". we need to bring the shows back to Denver. fuck 970! fake ass bitches. come to denver to see a REAL juggalo show. i will never go back to ft collins, ever. the merch booth was sellin phatso and mansmyth shirts and they only had the tour shirt in a fuckin MEDIUM! no fatkid luv at all. i hope there will never be another show up there. i was very pissed the whole night... twiztid were even pissed off at all the fake ass kids there. 303 DENVER 4 LIFE! fuck ft collins and fuck the aggie theatre! im out
