Twitter Tweet-Up March 31, 2009

Related only by the ability to communicate in 140-character posts on the popular networking site Twitter, Greenville and surrounding-area residents and business leaders will get together for a monthly routine of reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones on March 31 at 7:00 p.m. at Acasia’s Tipsy Teapot.

On March 31, the free Tweetup will feature the following presentations from Twitter experts:

“Twitter and the Greenville Tweets Community” by Brad Proctor
“How I Use Twitter in Personal/Professional Life” by Matt Long
“Two-Way Twitter: Tweeting as Conversation” by Derek Brown
“ Marketing and Twitter: Connect With and Cultivate Your Target Market” by Roger Conner

The networking site Twitter is not limited to individual and personal use. It has become an attractive medium for business leaders to market products and services, news networks to present breaking stories in an easy and fast-paced format, and for community organizers to promote events and encourage advocacy with their constituents.
