Twitter For Titters October 25, 2008

I know how much I love my DD and would hate to see something happen to them. Therefore, every year I try to make it to the Race for The Cure to show my support for the Breast Cancer Research. This year I was thinking it could be fun to do it together with my new Twitter friends. Therefore, with help of our wonderful twitter funny queen Kathy_L, I have started Twitter team. Life is too short and there is so much that happens and cannot be controlled. Lets be supportive and try to help one cause at the time. I think it would be fun to get together and walk/run 5k the Susan G. Komen Des Moines Race for the Cure on October 25th at 9:00 AM
Race for the Cure participants will be able to visit different sponsors at their booths and even purchase pink ribbon merchandise. There will be pre-race aerobic warm-up led by Aspen Athletics, for those of us that do not exercise a lot… at all.

I think this is a great event for Des Moines Twitters to be part of especially adding some humor to the very serious subject of cancer by calling yourselves “Twitter for Titters”. Great job.
