Twine Juncus Gathering Basket Workshop February 12, 2011

Master weaver Abe Sanchez returns to Fullerton Arboretum to teach the ancient art of Native American basketry using local native plants. Participants in this class will have the opportunity to create a small open twined juncus (Juncus textilis) gathering basket woven in the traditional style unique to Southern California.
