Twestival Phoenix February 12, 2009

On Thursday, February 12th, Phoenix will participate in Twestival with 175+ cities around the world in a global tweetup for charity.

Twestival enables people from Twitter to connect offline, network and catch up socially while supporting a good cause. Twestival is 100% volunteer organized with all proceeds going to charity.

Twestival is now supporting charity: water - an organization that helps provide safe, clean drinking water to people in developing nations. 100% of the money raised goes to direct project costs, funding sustainable clean water solutions.

Our aim is to bring all the various groups of #phx tweeps together in concert with this global tweetup to raise money for a good cause and to build community.
