Miramont Castle welcomes The Victorian Society for a slightly tardy celebration of Twelfth Night, a holiday that has largely been forgotten in modern times. Many people have at least a passing familiarity with the twelve days of Christmas from the Christmas carol of the same name, also known as "A Partridge in a Pear Tree." The origins of the Twelfth Night holiday go back many centuries, when it became traditional to celebrate the days from Christmas Eve to the Epiphany, around January 6th. Even though we are a few days past the usual date, it is a great opportunity to put a festive end on the Yuletide season with afternoon tea, games, magic, and dancing. Further info: 719-360-6420
