Are you bummed that you can't get away to Las Vegas for the New Media Expo? If you forgot to plan or can't afford to go, then you should get together with your local twitter friends who also did not go to the NME!
Are you broke, or live on the East Side? How about I take care of your lunch? I have secured a facility, and food WILL BE PROVIDED to you at NO COST. Bring the whole family, there will be games for the kids, and plenty of good conversation among the adult tweeple.
Location: University of Phoenix Stadium (Cardinals Stadium)
Food: 300ft long Pizza Buffet
Drink: Soda, also free
This could be a Guinness book world record (Unless we eat faster than they build it! :-)

I ( http://twitter.com/AcmePhoto on twitter) would love to say that I'm personally "taking care" of all the food and renting an entire stadium because I'm just a nice guy.
The truth is I was hired to provide photography coverage of this event and since they are inviting everyone, I thought I'd invite all my friends. Why not piggyback on their event? I mentioned to my contact that I could invite a "few people I know". She said sure, so I hope 100+ people is OK with them?!?! ;-P

I'll be at NME in Vegas, but it's funny you sent this because it's in this month's Active Moms calendar and I thought it was such a cool event anyway! I'm so glad to know someone who is a part of it! I hope you have a great time!

Just to clarify: is this event *only* an attempt to set a Guinness record or is it in regard to something else and the pizza is just part of it?
I'm interested, but if it's the former, I'm afraid the local media will cover it and *thousands* of people will show up.

@Scott.K Don't quote me on this, but I once got a FWD email about a pizza party. It warned that they would want you to put your name on a list, then give $1 to the people on the list above you....
Then you get a motivational video email from Bill Gates who left microsoft to sell Neiman Marcus cookies at Applebees.
But I deleted the email because it was a Nigerian Scam. So I just ate the pizza! :-)

This will be an "I'll come if I'm ready for my trip the next day" type event. Sadly, that's doubtful, but I'm putting it in my calendar. Being a new Phoenician though, I'm sure there are other events I'll be able to come to. :)
