Turkish Days in NY / Times Square-Parade of Anatolian Civilizations September 28, 2009

Times Square-Parade of Anatolian Civilizations will take place on Monday, September 28th from Noon until 4pm at Times Square in Manhattan. Anatolian Civilizations will be presented by kings and queens with custom designed costumes along with symbolic
tags and informative brochures. For the first time in the history of Times Square---- as it is the crossroad of the world today----the oldest military band the Ottoman Janissary Band with its colorful costumes and musical instruments will walk through the streets of Times Square. In addition, there will be live stage performances at the heart of Times Square such as Whirling Dervishes and Turkic Folklore teams.
