Turandot is the story of the conversion of an ice princess through the power of love. It takes place in ancient Peking and provides the audience with the essential elements for a grand opera. It has passion, dramatic tension and an exotic locale. The richness of melody and the sumptuousness of the orchestral music are what creates opera fans for life.
