The term milonga in Argentine dialect refers to a community venue or gathering where the tango tradition is preserved through learning and practicing the dance form. Historically, neighborhood milongas featured live music and played a central role in the community life of Buenos Aires. At the 18th Street Lounge's Milonga, rather than live music, guest DJs will provide the music for this evening of dancing. A drop-in basics class will be offered at 8 pm. Dancing starts at 9 pm.
