"A Tribute to Stanley Turrentine" with John Worley Jr. and the Mo-Chi Quartet will focus on the works of one of the premiere sax players in the world of Jazz - Stanley Turrentine. Tenor Saxophonist Oscar Pangilinan will be our featured sax player and we will be fortunate to host guitarist Sebastien Lanson direct from Paris, France.

They will joined by the very talented Mo-Chi Quartet - Murray Low on piano, Ken Okada on bass, Kevin Higuchi on drums and John Worley on flugelhorn, trumpet and the infamous post horn for some great grooves! The Mo-Chi Quartet is John's latest musical endeavor that blends original Jazz compositions, Japanese folk melodies - and in this particular concert - the music of Stanley Turrentine as well.

In fact, the Mo-Chi Quartet brings out the rich cultural heritage shared by it's members whose ancestral roots reach into Asia and whose musical sensibilities were nurtured here in the USA.
