On Saturday July 19th, 2008, the Historic Southgate House will be transformed into a dance hall reminiscent of the infamous entertainment district that was Newport, Kentucky. The Silver Slipper will perform a retrospective of the Jazz Era that started in the 1920’s. Tropicoso and Michael McIntire and the Marmalade Brigade also join the group to round out a full night of lively musical fare. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and music starts at 8:30 pm in the ballroom (non-smoking). Admission is only $8 (21 and up) and $10 (18-20).
