'Tropic Of Desire' December 19, 2009

Tropic of Desire features an infamous World War II cat house, The Pink Flamingo. A French warm-hearted madam, caters to the sex starved servicemen. The feature produced in 1979 includes nostalgia, via the sets and period music, and a stag film within the film.

Many historical films have been donated to the Exodus Trust, inclusive of copyright. The Exodus Trust has the largest film archive in the world, which dates back to the late 19th century. The Erotic Heritage Museum is pleased to present these films to a new audience so that they may understand how these historical films have influenced our lives, as well as reflect what was relevant to a culture at the time it was made.

It is the hope of the Exodus Trust that the films in its archives, 8mm-16mm-35mm, split negs, betas, will be converted for future generations to enjoy. It is with our patrons support and awareness that we may preserve our erotic heritage.
