Tripper returns to the Magic Bag this Saturday, April 28 to celebrate the band’s 8-year anniversary. Joining Tripper are special guests The Matt Keil Band and Tom Butwin. Doors open at 8 p.m., 18 and over welcome, admission is $7.
To commemorate the occasion, two of Tripper’s original members – Dan Micoff and Matt Brooks – will return to perform a couple of the band’s classics from the Moxie Stick CD. And, the band has been hard at work on a brand new single, “If This is How it Ends,” which will debut at the show.
“We want to gather as many people as we can from throughout the band’s history,” said guitarist and founding member, Steve Marvicsin. “Everyone who was with us at those original Memphis Smoke and Rubbles shows to DTE, Hard Rock Café, Arts, Beats & Eats, and our release parties at the Magic Bag. We want to show our appreciation for their support after all these years – and rock the place.”
