Tremont Farmers Market Seasonal Debut, Sunday June 22, 10-2
Food grown in Cleveland.
You've read about local food, now is the time to join the movement. Support a group of dedicated urban farmers and enjoy some wonderful, tasty food. Plan the weeks meals, or try something new. From greens to herbs, chocolate to bread, we have a great lineup of vendors, featuring:
Wonder City Farms, Herban Ninjas, Flowers and Such, Hooper Farms, Keke Confectioners, Gather Round Farm, Ecovillage, Sharon Glaspie and Suzannie Handknits.
At noon, Chef Ricardo Sandoval, of Fat Cats and Lava Lounge in Tremont, and the new Felices Urban Cafe on Larchmere Boulevard, will work some magic with some of the available produce, and then we can all sample his creation.
Come prepared to dance, as The Hiram Rapids Stumblers and One Dollar Hat will be sure to make your toes itch to move.
From 10-12, the Tremont Gardeners will be hosting a plant exchange, so divide those perennials and get something new for your garden.
Mark your calenders now, and on Sunday, stroll down to Lucky Park, at the corner of Starkweather and Professor.
