Tree Lighting Celebration November 18, 2007

Pier 39 will host a Tree-rific Rockin' Celebration with the boogie-woogie '40s beat of Mitch Woods and his Rocket '88s. The well-known Bay Area band will entertain visitors leading up to the lighting ceremony. Pier 39's majestic tree, adorned with 400 glistening ornaments, 500 multi-colored bows and 2,000 twinkling lights will be illuminated at 5:30PM in the Entrance Plaza. All day, the public will hear Bay Area music groups presenting their traditional holiday favorites. Santa will be on-site throughout the day.
