In 1917 three of the 20th century's most crucial revolutionaries - author James Joyce, Tristan Tzara, the founder of the Dada art movement, and political revolutionary Lenin - were all living in Zurich. 'Travesties' spins this historical coincidence into a hysterically madcap speculative portrait of what their meeting might have engendered.
