Travel Savvy and Hassle Free - at IIT in Wheaton June 15, 2011

Whether you are a seasoned traveler or novice, traveling with a group or on your own, Kathy Summers, founder of "Women with Altitude" will share her travel tips with you to make your next trip as hassle free as possible. Come join members of the Chicago Chapter of The Transition Network and other community members for a fun evening on Wednesday, June 15 from 6:30pm – 8:45pm.

Program Information:
Join us to learn about the "do's" and "don'ts" of travel from the personal experiences of seasoned travel agent, Kathy Summers. From what to take, to hotel hints, to travel safety, Kathy will give us advice on enhancing our travel experience.

Over the years Kathy has met many women who loved to travel but did not have a travel buddy. That motivated her to start a travel club for ladies only – "Women with Altitude". Kathy plans custom trips and escorts small groups of women on trips designed with women’s interests in mind.

Kathy Summers, founder of Designed For You Travel, has more than 15 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry. Kathy has traveled extensively and continues to educate herself in all facets of the business. Some of her areas of expertise include England, Scotland, Ireland, many areas of Central and Eastern Europe and the Continent of Africa. Kathy is on the board of the Association for the Promotion of Tourism to Africa, (APTA) a non-profit organization that educates travel agents on selling the continent of Africa. Kathy has also served on the Advisory Board of the College of DuPage Travel and Tourism Program.
