Travel Photographer of the Year and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) are delighted to announce a new five-year partnership that will see the Society host major annual exhibitions of the awards' stunning travel photography supported by an ongoing programme of workshops and events, starting this summer.

The first free exhibition will run from May 6th to June 10th 2011. Held in the Society's modern glass-fronted pavilion at the heart of London's cultural quarter in Kensington, it will feature winning shots from the 2010 international Travel Photographer of the Year awards.

There are also 3 one-day workshops planned to complement the exhibition. Priced at just £55 per day or £140 for a 3-day ticket, there's a great line-up of speakers from the world of photography and travel, including Alexander Maitland (travel writer), Andy Rouse (wildlife photographer), Steve Bloom (travel and wildlife photographer), Michelle Jana Chan (BBC presenter and video journalist), Hugh Thompson (explorer and writer) and Jason Hawkes (aerial photographer).
'Exploring Photography and Travel' (14 May) focuses on travellers who love photography, with sessions on camera and photographic technique.
'Wild Day' (15 May) is all about adventure, nature, wildlife, environment & landscape.
'People & Culture Day' (5 June) focuses on vanishing cultures, photographing people, and photographers at work.
