The Transportation and Land Use Coalition (TALC) holds five Regional Meetings per year. The meetings focus on a variety of issues related to creating walkable communities in the nine-county Bay Area that are connected by world class transit. The meetings typically include a guest speaker on a topic of broad interest, and attendance is open to the general public. The meetings are free, although an optional donation is requested if you choose to have dinner.

An orientation session is offered from 5:00 - 5:30 pm if you have never attended a Regional Meeting before. The orientation is optional, but is a helpful introduction to the issues that TALC and our coalition partners work on.

The agenda and speaker will be posted a few weeks prior to the meeting. Check back here, or visit TALC's website at www.transcoalition.org.

TALC sent the agenda, summarized as:
What is the single biggest hurdle for increasing public transit ridership?
How are we going to win a Regional Transportation Plan that really fights climate change?
And why is the Transportation and Land Use Coalition (TALC) likely changing its name?
These questions and many more answered on November 28th… plus wine, cookies, and mingling after the meeting to celebrate the holiday season
