"Transforming A Generation" Youth Conference April 24, 2009

The Conference will kick off on Friday evening with a dynamic and Holy Spirit filled worship service featuring as guest speaker, Min. Emmitt Young, III, formerly known as WHUR's "Preacher Boy". On Saturday, beginning at 9am, the Conference will open with our very own Pastor, Rev. Dr. Darrell Macklin, our keynote speaker. There will be awesome workshops with topics such as - "Hotline to Heaven", "Who God Says I Am", "The Pressure Is On", "I Just Want To Fit In", just to name a few.
This year, we are extremely pleased to offer a parent workshop entitled "Parenting from a Biblical Perspective". Saturday will end with a Youth Praise Break Service featuring Joseph Cassell and Anointed for Christ along with many other excellent local musicians and great dance ministries. The Conference will close out on Sunday with our guest speaker, Min. Demetrius Price, Youth Minister of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Washington, DC.
