Transcriptions, Boston's month queer/trans open mic night, is gearing up for our last show of 2009! Strap on that scarf, layer up those socks, and prepare yourself for a ho-ho-whole lot of fun this month at Transcriptions! Our feature performer, Rachel K. Zall, opened up for the Femme Show back in June, and we loved her so much we're bringing her back for a full-length feature. Rachel is a poet and activist living in Somerville, MA whom one local hate group has called "what’s coming to our public schools!" Rachel will be reading poems from her book, "The Oxygen Catastrophe: Poems 1999-2006," as well as her upcoming book "New Problems."
If nothing else, now's your chance to get a head start on your holiday weight gain, with our fabulously delicious VEGAN BAKE SALE! All proceeds go to a different charity each month, so come on down!
