Bulgarian Bebop project leaders Ivo Papsov, Yuri Yunakov and Neshko Neshev are back with a new ensemble that performs Slavic and Romani (Gypsy) music from the Balkan countries of Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey. Their Bulgarian "wedding music," originally suppressed by the communist government, is a means of countercultural expression and inspires quite the dance party.
