Track 16 Presents Overs & Unders: Paintings by Bob Neuwirth, 1964 – 2009 May 14, 2011

Track 16 Gallery is pleased to present Overs & Unders: Paintings by Bob Neuwirth, 1964 – 2009. Curated by Kristine McKenna, this retrospective exhibition will open on Saturday, May 14 and run through Saturday, June 11, 2011.  An opening reception with the artist will take place on Saturday, May14th from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.

The show includes sixteen canvases produced over the course of Neuwirth's forty-five year career in art, which has included painting, sculpture, filmmaking and music. Difficult to categorize, Neuwirth has moved from one medium to another, but has always returned to his original disciplines of drawing and painting.  As he says, “all art is visual for me, whether I’m painting or trying to write a good song.” 

Track 16 Gallery is located at Bergamot Station – 2525 Michigan Ave., Building C1, Santa Monica, CA 90404.  Regular gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday from 12:00 to 6:00 P.M.
