The gigantic debt was caused by oil wars, tax breaks for corporations and the rich, reckless speculation by financial institutions, and bailouts to the same institutions, but Republicans and Democrats alike want to pay down the debt by cutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, all benefits that we’ve earned.

We are seniors, people with disability, children or spouses of someone who died, and low-income workers, and we will NOT let this robbery take place. We need jobs, not austerity. Come to this Town Hall meeting, learn more about what’s happening and what to do.
