The Longfellow National Historic Site opens for the 2009 summer season and celebrates the 250th anniversary since its original construction. Admission to the house, former home of poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and one-time headquarters of George Washington, is by guided tour only. The 45 to 50 minute tours are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
