The Library of Congress offers docent-led tours of the magnificent Thomas Jefferson Building. The Library's professionally trained docents discuss the history of the Library as well as the art and architecture of this historic building that opened in 1897. These walking lecture tours last about 45 minutes and begin in the Ground Floor Visitors Center.
