Tourism and the American Landscape March 26, 2008

This exhibition explores the work of three influential artists in the context of the new and growing tourism industry in the United States during the 19th century. This exhibition features works of Frederic Church, Winslow Homer and Thomas Moran. The exhibition includes nearly 70 painted sketches plus studio paintings, drawings, books, and stereographs.
