I have reported the problem to someone i hope can cope. (Not a browser problem, there is no DNS serving the domain.)
Meanwhile, try http://athletics.fo/blog/?cat=19 or [email protected]. The schedule at http://athletics.fo/blog/?page_id=100 stops one month short of the marathon. Another useless source is http://kunning.fo/event.asp?CID=22

The marathon is now at least on the http://www.athletics.fo/?page_id=384 page.
My guess is that you will be able to enter at http://www.athletics.fo/?page_id=11 a few days in advance, and I can't imagine that attendance will be limited. (Even if it was limited, the Faroese way is letting you run, if you have travelled far to do it.)
