Join Meet Market Adventures and other adventurous singles for a fun filled day of Yurts and Snowshoeing. What is a Yurt you ask? A Yurt is a circular tent of felt or skins on a collapsible framework that is build in the heart of the wilderness. A Yurt is fully heated and has everything including; composting toilet, solar and wind generation, wildlife habitat rehabilitation and natural regeneration projects. Strapping on a pair of snowshoes for the very first time is an exciting event, especially when there's three feet of snow on the ground. Some describe it as "four wheel drive for my feet". We will spend the day exploring the forests, meadows, and the beautiful rolling landscape of the Niagara Escarpment. After a refreshing day outside we will enjoy a uniquely designed Yurt to warm ourselves by the fire, have a cup of hot chocolate and get to know one another a little better.
