Join Meet Market Adventures and other adventurous singles, as we try our hand at skeet shooting. Skeet and trap shooting are recreational and competitive activities where participants attempt to break clay disks (pigeons) flung into the air by a mechanical trap at high speeds from a variety of angles meant to copy the flight of birds.
Our adventure will start at the top of the picturesque Oak Ridges Moraine where we will learn about the safe handling of shotguns, range procedures and basic rules of skeet and trap, reloading ammunition, and shooting skeet. Then we will be able to put our hand-eye coordination to the test and attempt to successful break some of our own clay pigeons!
If you’re looking for a day outdoors trying something completely different, in the company of new-found friends, then this is one adventure you don’t want to miss!
* All materials necessary for the adventure are included: guns, ammunition, reloading components, earplugs, targets, range, and instruction.
