Toronto Jazz Festival June 25, 2009

Everyone from the casual listener to hardcore jazz aficionados will find a show that satisfies at the Toronto Jazz Festival. A ton of Canadian and international acts are slated to perform at this year's festival as outdoor stages, hotels and lounges around the city host shows ranging from traditional bebop and blues to fusion and free jazz.

Tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins is kicking off the 23rd Toronto Jazz Festival at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on June 26 at 8 p.m. At the same venue and time on June 29 Gary Burton Quartet Revisited with special guest Pat Metheny reunite.
