Are you an emerging artist who doesn’t know where to start in the music industry, a student studying in the entertainment industry or just a professional who wants to network? Join us on Saturday May 26, 2012 from 10am – 3pm at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.


This conference is for the independent, emerging artist learn more about the music business, understand how to develop their careers and provide an opportunity to network with music industry professionals.

Shaped to serve the Canadian music industry’s ongoing need for inspiration, innovation and education, the 2012 TorontoIMS conference will be guided by four key areas. Music business experts will share their insights in; Music Training, Marketing & Branding, and “Vision Beyond” to mentor emerging Canadian artists.
Live performances by some of the hottest independent artists in the game will be featured at the Hard Rock Cafe, 279 Yonge Street - Toronto from 5pm - 9pm.
Proceeds will be donated to MusiCounts non-profit organization to support music programs for kids across Canada.

Only the first 30 artists to register will qualify to submit their demo/music for the 'Music Mentorship' Session.
