Speaker: Adam Roberts of PCubed Canada
Giving business what they want: Is scheduling the problem or the solution?

Abstract: Organizations invest time and money adopting mature scheduling disciplines but soon feel they are not getting the benefit they expected and feel overwhelmed by the administrative overhead. This is often due to a misapprehension over how project management disciplines scale and help delivery. The key lever for driving programs successfully is accurate status and reliable estimation. The best way to do this is to empower those project managers who prove they can consistently plan and predict project outcomes. There is a pragmatic flexible way to do this without having to adopt unwieldy project management processes that interfere with delivery.
Speaker Bio:Adam Roberts has delivered project & portfolio management solutions for over 10 years at Pcubed. In that time he worked for both the public and private sector and for clients in three continents. Six years ago Adam came to Toronto to help form the Canadian Pcubed practice which has since become the go to place for Portfolio & Project Management solutions of excellence in Canada.
