Tornado Rider is a wild victorious rock band of electric cello, bass and drums led by revolutionary cello goblin Rushad Eggleston who sings of falcons, cactus and the land of Snee.

This band is inventing a wild new brand of hard rocking yet smart music featuring electric cello, fast yodelish rock numbers, motivational songs of sudden victory, ancient wizard anthems, and psychotic marches from the underworld, caveman chants, and drunkards sing-along. It is a theatrical show reinforced by mythical costumes, synchronized caveman dances, laughing contests, etc.

TORNADO RIDER puts on a totally original wild show, they play catchy songs that get stuck in your head, the lead dude plays electric cello like you never could imagine, the keyboard sounds are totally Nintendo, and the drummer is freaky wild like an animal from the muppets.

The leader of the band, Rushad, is widely known as the brave pioneer of a whole new style of cello playing. He attended the Berklee school of music on full scholarship, and (with a band called fiddlers 4) became their only active student to be nominated for a Grammy! He has played with Bela Fleck, Natalie Merchant, Dr. John, Yonder Mountain String Band, David Grisman, Mark OConnor, Darol Anger, Nickel Creek, Taj Mahal, and lots more. He has played all over the world including Carnegie hall, all the major folk and bluegrass festivals, and in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France, Romania, and Canada
