Tony Holt and the Wildwood Valley Boys is a national band traveling all over the United States and Canada. Based in Southeast Indiana, the band gets its name from Tony’s grandparents’ “Wildwood Farm” near Milan, IN. Originally formed in 1992, the band has seen many changes over the years, but continues to overwhelm crowds all over the country. Mostly traditional by nature, the band performs many originals, penned mostly by the Holt clan, and some old time favorites along with some new material from each of their five Rebel recordings. They plan to release their 6 th CD in early 2010.

Tony Holt – Tony plays guitar and sings most of the lead for the band. He is the only original member of The Wildwood Valley Boys. He also played bass for The Boys From Indiana from 1994-1995, until the band’s retirement. He resides near Milan, IN with his family. His influences include The Osborne Brothers, The Louvin Brothers, George Jones, and Hank Williams.

Aubrey Holt – Aubrey plays guitar and sings tenor and lead. Some may remember Aubrey from the band The Boys From Indiana where he also played guitar and sang lead and tenor. Aubrey is one of the most renowned songwriters in bluegrass music today with songs recorded by artists such as The Grascals, Alison Krauss, Blue Highway, Longview, Cherryholmes, and many others. His song “The Sad Wind Sighs” recorded by The Grascals, with Vince Gill, was nominated for “Recorded Event of the Year” at the 2009 IBMA Awards. He also resides near Milan, IN.

Tom Patrick – Tom, a.k.a “The Old Coonhunter”, plays bass and resides near Sidney, OH with his wife. He is a great lover of bluegrass and gospel music. His influences include his father, who was also a musician. In his spare time he buys, sells and trades different types of instruments.

Jeremy Blankenship – Jeremy plays banjo and some lead guitar and sings some baritone for the band. He started playing in his family band, The Shively Family at age eight. He can play banjo, mandolin, bass and guitar. Jeremy has played with The Willing Vessels, a band out of Lebanon, OH, and The Backwoods Boys. A lot of his free time is spent on “The Banjo Hangout”. Jeremy lives near Dayton, OH, with his wife and children.
