Just Back from Entertaining the Troops in Afghanistan, Host of Showtime’s “Chocolate Sundaes Comedy Show”

Tommy Davidson’s exceptional range – stand-up comedy and acting to versatile music ability – have earned him a reputation as an extraordinary performer. Best known as one of the original stars of the hit television show In Living Color, Tommy’s visibility increased rapidly and he became widely known for his innovative talent. Tommy’s impressive film debut was opposite Halle Berry in “Strictly Business”. He immediately segued into select high-profile films “Woo”, “Booty Call”, “Bamboozled”,and the pivotal cameo in Jim Carrey’s “Ace Ventura II: When Nature Calls”, which has become a cult favorite. His visibility on In Living Color led to three Showtime specials: “On Strength of New York, Illin”’ “in Philly” and “Takin’ it to DC”. He is receiving critical raves for a cameo in Ahmed Ahmed’s award-winning documentary, “Just Like Us”, a feature film masterpiece which is a cross-cultural study of stand-up comedy bridging all ethnicities. His film “Black Dynamite” has a huge cult following and is currently being adapted by Adult Swim into an animated series. Summer 2012 release.
