Come join the Utica College Community on Thursday, February 5th at 5:30pm in the Utica College Library Concourse for a speaker on Hate and Tolerance, T.J. Leyden.

After 15 years as a neo-Nazi activist and recruiter, T.J. Leyden, experienced a change of heart, turned away from hate, and began teaching tolerance. At the invitation of the President he has spoken at a White House conference on hate crimes. He has also been featured on TIME magazine and on an episode of CBS’ 48 Hours. He is now one of the most powerful spokespersons for tolerance.

“How can a man who covered his body in Nazi symbols, advocated for the death of Jews, and recruited teenagers into the hate movement become one of the nation’s moat compelling advocates for the importance of diversity and cultural appreciation?”

Co-sponsored by the Black Student Union, Diversity Committee, Inter-Greek Council, Jewish Student Union, and Office of the President, Residence Hall Association, Student Senate, UC PRIDE, and the Womyn’s Resource Center.
